Dinsdag 23 juli: Workshop Reframing HERstory Art Foundation

Following on from the inspiring performances of Radiant Shadow (Schitterende Schaduw by Reframing HERstory Art Foundation) on July 4th, Sonsbeek 20→24 invites you to participate in a workshop taking place on the 23 of July. In the workshop, we will explore some of the key themes of Schitterende Schaduw through guided movement, improvisation, choreographic tasks and discussion. Themes will include individual and group identities and power relationships, to draw attention to how the legacy of slavery and oppression impacts our lives today and how we can come together to heal and forge a more equitable future for all.

Who can attend?
Anyone aged 16+, with or without dance experience. Prior attendance at a performance of Schitterende Schaduw/Radiant Shadow is recommended but is not essential.
